I'm 22 and i've always wanted to join the armed forces since a young age. My dads uncle bill was in the paras and was at Arnhem so aswell as wanting to join an elite infantry unit possibly to go further in the military, there is also that family history. I like to be active and the minute all i do is sit down for 8 hours a day doing nothing constructive at all. I want to make myself proud of what i have done and acheived in life and noone could take the fact you earned a maroon beret off of you.

Good luck BIG Hal.
I can't wait for next Tuesday, I'm like a six year old waiting for Christmas morning
I did try something new last week though, I got hold of an old punchbag (having never done any boxing before) and proceeded to get stuck in, then sprained my wrist, resulting in my hand swelling up like a balloon!
I wasn't feeling too clever after that with only a fortnight to go before the big day.
It's ok now thankfully, needles to say the punchbag has gotten a bit lonely since.
