They weren't proposing cancelling jumps courses until the end of the year I believe.

Know people going on one mid-summer, and apparently there is one we're meant to do at the beginning of autumn too.

There were a few 4 para bods trying to recruit us at our OTC the other day with presentations and the like, I asked about the whole wings thing and he said that their company (10) will be booked in for the next couple of years!

Huh, well hope that's true, considering it's my coy ;-) Can't say it's what we've been told though.

Your in 10 coy, I thought you were going to Sandhurst? Plans changed? Theres an JUO in my OTC who has his TA commisioning course in July and then is going for the P coy in August I think, he might be on the same one as you. As youve probably guessed his first choice was the paras..

In training cadre for 10 coy, and got RCB for Sandhurst in a month or so time, CIC / P-Coy right after that. If I get into RMAS, all well and good, if not I'll stay 4 PARA, all well and good.

Do you remember any of the names of the guys at OTC? Only I think I saw some of the training team down for an init weekend like that on the schedule recently. (Better PM me names if you do, for obvious reasons)

Sorry dont remember any names, but there was a really short captain, looks a little asian with dodgey teeth, I think he was head of recruitment. There was a sgt who has been in for 10 years or so- dark hair, and a lance corporal whos going for RMAS soon I think.

Good luck for your RCB
