Who said anything about wearing a reg top running? A little off topic and completely out of the blue....
Considering the top i am wearing isnt actually a reg top and i was issued it by the Parachute Regiment recruitment team after completing the week insight course. It says underneath the cap badge... "I survived The Parachute Regiment Insight Course" Ergo i am not posing as something i am not the picture i use as my avatar is a picture of all the lads on one of the insight courses i was on.
Not meaning to be antagonistic i just dont like being portrayed as a walt or something that im not. I hold the Parachute Regiment capbadge in very high esteem and intend to do everything i can to earn it.

Fair one, when your going on a Bn exercise and you know there is going to be some hideous tabs, make sure the ration packs have something in that agree with your delicate tummy...or you could just stop whining about something that everyone does when they've pushed it too hard!!
Seriously, the regiment you (and others) are aiming for requires men who can think on there feet, use there intiative, face extreme hardship and generally just 'get on with it'. Frankly questions like 'why am I being sick when I run fast up a hill?' are pathetic. And as for 'how heavy are medicine balls in basic?'...why do people want to know that? Are they gonna 'practice' beasting themselves??
Everytime you feel like asking a bone question, do 10 pull ups...at least then it will be beneficial towards your training

Yeah fair one EXREG I probably should have thought about my question properly. What I was really wondering was if it was advisable to carry on after being sick or would it do more harm than good.
I already do max pull-ups every time i walk through my I'M A SCAMMER SPAMMER!!! door ( I have a pull up bar there )

right then its a bit conflicting most medical buffs will tell you to stop exercising if you feel sick or actually vomit some endurance athelites say your not working hard enough if you dont chuck up a little bit
in most cases its down to blood shunt in others its to do with to much food in your stomache before exercise in others its lactose/glucose intolarance
i know of 1 guy on 23 selection who had beans and bacon for his breakfast and chucked it up half way up the first hill and had to be pulled of march as he came down with hypothermia (no calories in his system to burn of and provide body heat a colorie being the amount of heat generate by the body burning of feul) so in that instance if you are up the hills get off them asap
have you looked at thinks like gatoriade and other isotonic type drinks that feed the body as well as hydrating it? some of these are really good for taking before and during prolonged training periods
basically have a big breakfast then an hour or two eat a banana and yoghurt and drink plenty of CLEAR fluid before training and you should be fine if it keeps happening go see your doc it may be some for of intolrarernce to specific food types
but i would say dont ever try to train through neusea its diff when your on tabs etc when there is a medical waggon there for worst case scenario but when your on your own jack it rest a bit then go out again later

I am sorry if i've caused any offence by using this picture of myself but i did it as i thought it would be appropriate as my first achievement on the way to joining the Parchute Regiment. Now i have been put in my place it has been removed..

I dont know why they give the lads those t-shirts. They are never going to wear them once they get to depot and are DEFINATLY not going to wear it if they make it to battalion!! A certificate is much more appropriate.
Sandy, corrective training is definatly what that guy deserved. I also heard about a joe who turned up at darlo train station wearing an assault vest and maroon t-shirt!!

One of the screws (who shall remain anonymous) who collected them saw this lad and decided to carry out "corrective training" there and then in the form of slamming heads against the minibus!

It's amazing what people will do.
