Dont get me wrong mate, Ive never believed that people join the army to kill people. But you have to admit that thier are some people who show a disturbing indifference to death and violence.

When all you 12 year olds are actually faced with the prospect of taking a life, then see if you feel the same. There's also the little problem of the fig.11s on the 2 way range firing back at you. I imagine that if you asked most on this site, they'd be more than happy to go through their career without having to kill anyone, its a necessary evil of the job that you accept but no one should lust after it.

Aye. There are a few of my friends at school, who are complete idiots.

Telling me that they are going to join the army, then tell me the exact regiment and that they cannot wait to go shoot people. They don't seem to realise that is not what the army is about; sure shooting people is a part of the army, but hopefully most serving members don't have to go through with it.

No "innocent" human life in this war against terrorism is a small price to play, regardless of what part of the globe they come from, but however i am British and do feel it that much more when it is British people being killed.
