Cranwell Familiarisation Visit

Hi there Welsh Bird,

Since I have been put onto the new IOTC starting late November my familiarisation visit wont be until October. If possible could you let me know the sort of info they are giving. ie kit suggestions etc.

got back last week - wierd being back, especially as i got back to a huge pile of post including joining instructions. talk about shock to the system. had my security interview on wednesday. took about an hour and was really straight forward. 9 weeks tomorrow and counting...

Hey Vikki,

I was just wondering how your Famil Visit went ?

I really enjoyed my visit, but have to admit that I was a little bemused by how much I still have to sort out in only six weeks !!

Apparently there is to be around 108 cadets on the 216 course (the number has risen due to approx 27 people being pushed back from the april course due to them primarily failing the fit test !). Oh, and on that score all of the people who attended along with me passed, which the PT did make a point of saying hadnt happend in a very long time !
