If I remember correctly Lewis Collins wanted to go 23 SAS.
Apparently he was at or near the fitness level.

I think that he was told... "Bog off you're a T.V. personality".
A bit too much exposure perhaps...........

Stix, don`t know if you remember, but lewis collins used to come down to Deal for a few beers, the lads would get the twat pissed, (53 Club) and he`d end up stoney broke at the end of the night, reckoned he was the muts nuts, but at the end of the day, he was just a jerk

He used to come down to aldershot(1 para) along with the boxer John Conteh

Harry Secombe and Spike Milligan where in the RA but never the Para's Section of it. Also Bob Monkhouse was not in the Para's.

There was another chap his second name was McClean he was another sailor and Ex Para I think he came from the Irish Republic some where.

No she didn't. She was the PTI for the Duchess of Kent Barracks i.e all the lezzers!!
