bleep test 12.4 sit ups 72 press ups 18 i know well lame and 0 pull ups i didnt even get to the bar but i passed everything else they just told me to improve me upper body!

Right just got a call from the AFCO today, looks like I'm going down on this date too (Unless I break a leg or something).
Better focus on my PJFT this Thursday first though, anyway see you down there lads and keep up the training till then.

fodd, how many press ups can you do when you have done nothing else before. and did you have to go home straight away ??

i stayed till the end of the course! i cud do about 30 civvie style press ups but didnt know how to do the marine type ones know 1 told me now i can get to 50!

what do u class as civve press ups. and how come you didnt get to the bar. where u quite fresh was it the fact that you had to go to chest against the floor

Guess not. I shouldn't have said that really, probably bad luck.
So if you spot a guy on crutches and in bad need of a haircut that's me :silly:
Anyway it'll be easy to spot guys from the forum, we'll probably be some of the few that know what were doing.

i did my first prmc in january! civvie press ups like wide arm ones i find them well easier now!

so do ur elbows have to touch ur body mine hard are inline with my sholders but done touch there about 4-6" off my body

ELBOWS TUCKED IN PRESS UP

Keep your hands facing forward with your wrists underneath your shoulders.

Lower yourself down towards the floor in a smooth controlled manor, ideally 2 inches away from the floor, however work within your limits.

Avoid letting the elbows come away from your sides, as this is a good exercise for the triceps.

Arching of the spine and forcing your bottom into the air should be avoided.

yeah ash,i saw that a few months ago.Ive been doing press ups like that ever since..although with my head facing forward....

can anyone whos done the PRMC,tell me what part of the chest touches the fist when you do your press ups???

i would guess your breast plate???

I've been told by a mate who has just done his PRMC, that your oppo does not put his fist under your chest, he just makes sure your chest hits the FLOOR. That is how the press-up conuts.

Plus the 3-mile run in now run BFT style, first mile and half squadded then individual effort.
