I used to do judo so I know I have a strong back, and I always run on grass, I very rarely I run on concrete.

yer the back problems are definitely from either wrong trainers/too much concrete running or it can because you are not cross trainign enough. for instance i used to get shin strains from running, not because of my trainers but because i was working the just the carves. you might what to try back lifts in the gym - just get a situp bench a lie normally but on your stomach, have your top half of the bodyin mid air off the sit up bench with your feet supported as normal. then slowly lift yourself up and down. really works your back.. hope i explained that right

I think you mean dorsal raises. They are good for strengthening the back..

These are dorsal raises. I have them in my circuit to strengthen my back.

i do an excersice that i saw on rocky iv. where you keep your shoudlers on the ground by holding on to the egde of a bench (or something like that) then raise your bodyto a 45 degree angle then go back down. pretty much the exact opposite of a dorsal raise. i'm trying to find a picture of it as its hard to explain and there a lot harder than they sound

If I tried to do it id have to have the paramedics on standby alert to snap my back back into position.
