Sorry, I didn't realise me smoking it was killing people
Terrorist groups like the IRA have many ways in which to make their money to fund their killings - Pirate CD's, Pirate DVD's, rackateering etc. but the main money maker is drugs.
You buy an eighth from a mate, who bought 9oz from a dealer, who bought a few kilos from a 'big boy' (The big boy being someone with possible terrorist links)
That's just weed, think of the money they make from Heroin & Coke....
It's a simple as that

For starters bin the weed, its not big and its not clever.
Not so much will the RN find it in you, but can you give it up if you go RN.
Sure I knew guys who did drugs, but those guys wern't trusted, kept themselves to them selves and usually ended up shore side with a rail warrant.
JUST DONT DO IT!!!! (ex RN Medic Seen the shit it does)
As for getting in as fast as possible, take your time, wait and tread softly softly, I made the mistake but was lucky enough to transfer trades after I realised my mistake. But its not a thing the RN like to do on mass. Everyone seems in a rush these days, just chill and look beyond the next few months, you 22 years in blue kit ahead of you so have a Naffi break and chill.
As for submarines???????? Even though I was RN I served as a medic with RM so to me theres only one marine and it dont go "one ping only Number one!!"
Take it easy and good luck

I know I’m bring an old thread back but I’m interested in the subject, so there
Being a student I spend a lot of time passive smoking weed and I have done it occasionally but never really thought it did anything to me, honestly I’d rather get drunk or go to the gym.
if the drugs test is a urine test it probably takes about a month to get rid of it. if they decide to take a hair sample your screwed so shave your head (it can stay there for 90 days after just one use) if they take a blood test you should be alright cos I think its only in your blood for a few hours.
to decrease detection time eat high calorie foods and do plenty of exercise cos it increases your metabolism. And I’m guessing if you’re doing plenty of exercise it decreases your number of fat cells.
But if you don't want to get caught don't do it.
on the RM website it says
If you are an habitual user of illegal substances, you will not be eligible to apply. Random compulsory drugs testing is practised in the Armed Forces

Sorry for bringing a very old thread up but I have some things to add. About cannabis funding terrorism, thats the goverments own fault, that a dangerous drug like alcohol can be legal wich causes road accidents, fights, people getting pregnant, people turning into violent beasts, vandalism, hell it can even kill you (and it happens to a few ppl every year) .
But a drug like cannabis wich basicly just makes you go 'yeah wow man far out' and then makes you sleepy, is illegal.... Here in Holland cannabis is tolerated and people who are 18+ can purchase 5 grams of it, there have never been any problems and less people smoke it here than over there, actually there are less drug addicts here (percantage wise) and kids don't get involved with it untill they are much older than over there.
Personally I have smoked it a few times, don't really see the problem, its nearly legal here (tolerated), you can go out the the pub, relax, smoke a joint with your pals, no problem at all. No dodgy deals in back alleys with terrorist or drugdealers. Coffeeshops are all over the town, are usually very nicely designed, have good music and a bar.
Of course I stopped smoking it as soon as I wanted to join the service, the dutch service is full here untill 2006 and they are far more strict than the British (if you have EVER touched any drug then you autmaticly get barred, 90% probably have to lie

).
I have my interview in 5 days and I'm not going to lie, from all the brochures Ive read and people I've talked to I should have no worry.
And to you :
