Off thread a little i know but on the subject of Ron Hills, i was in the car today and passed some bloke in those vile day glo yellow colour ones that i last set eyes on in 85...........I was in North Howard St Mill with X Ray Coy,45 and one of you Royals who i only know as Ginge, man mountain and AWC type, used to wear them, bloody horrible things but nobody ever told him so lol, and yes his bum looked big!

(Off subject again) One of the guys at our unit in Germany in the 80's (A prime posing dork) would often go off langlauf training in the middle of summer with his roller skis and dayglo ron hills. But when he moved onto a white pair it became even more disturbing....

At the start of his session he would preen himself on the square and be proud that these 'skin-tight long-johns' showed off EVERY contour of his sock drawer.....

....not realising that within a couple of minutes of his ski session he was parading a sweaty brown arse crack to passing motorists as he merrily skied along the cyclepath and as the Ron Hills became 'a little too see-through' ....surprised he never got picked up..

Stood in the mess one Satdee afternoon in me Ron Hills and I was famished, went round the back to see what I could proff but all was locked away. Save one fridge whose only item was an avacado pear
Needless to say, I shoved it down the front of me RHs and returned to the bar. It looked fantastic

I stood there chatting away and occasionally stuck me thumbs in me waistband as one did to adjust the tension. Slowly I was lowering the waistband untill the tip of the avocado was just visible She was horror struck Eventually with half of the pear sticking out I said excuse me, have we met? My name`s Harry, and stuck me hand out to shake hands. As she reached forward(without taking her eyes off the prize) I grabbed her wrist and whipped out the avocado and shoved it in her hand

Still use a pair now for my morning runs into work, these are a bit more modern than my others as they have a load of reflective bits added, and yes i have cut the stirrups off lol

They have what look like "armoured" RH down here, called skinz. They provide resistance to movement and all the AFL guys wear them.Some very thick lads in AFL, they are the ones who still wear them during the game

To get back to the original subject, i.e. The Intelligence Corps - or it's other name, Military Intelligence.

Military Intelligence does not really exist. How can the Military have Intelligence!!!!
