I've been here on and off for a while but positively refuse to be called sensible
I'm sure the old faces who've had to put up with my past rantings will agree I'm completely unhinged and really shouldn't be allowed to roam freely through these forums let alone the streets

I'm literate, (I think) I don't ask questions about how 'ard the SAS are, I left school many years ago, I'm not a walter (I left Army training due to problems at home and am now trying to re-join) and I'm a mature, married bloke with a 2 year old daughter. I think I should be allowed into the retreat.

I joined the forums over two years ago (a good move) when it was in infanthood (and El Prez's user name was Rob... :scatter: ), when I was in most need of help at the beginning of the long road to the Green lid. I have always contributed sensibly to, and respected the forums.
I have recently withdrawn from RMR Training for a number of reasons but intend to join the regulars after University.
The forums have proved extremely helpful (to the extent that I might have given up on getting fit and motivated a long time ago…). I have personally watched the site mature from a handful of regular members to a whole community, it now seems for example that in every intake at CTC there's a Military Forums crew!
I will continue to contribute (if in moderation) and browse the forums regularly. My addition to the retreat will be a welcome privilege.
JZ.

Well I'd like to think I'm a sensible poster, no flaming or arguing to date, some lively discussion but nothing uncivil or rude. Not been here too long, so maybe haven't had a chance to make an "impact" yet!
I'm not sure how much I have to offer since I've never served in the forces, but the board has certainly had a lot to offer me and I'm very grateful for it.

Hello Admins,
I will admit that i have not always been level headed on these forums, and may have appeared to be one of these 'nobbers' or 'walters' (although im not sure what defines those).
But on the other hand, i believe i have settled in quite well and bring valuable opinions to light.
Im well on my way too being in the British Army (hopefully as part of a tank crew [my dream]) with my application being sent off only weeks ago.
I frequent the Army forums alot, and have helped out on health/training recently.
Some veterans (literally and of this site) that i belive would vouch for me are Frank S., Wholley, and Whitey.
Cheers,
Hope to hear back

Many moons ago I asked sanctuary amongst the great and the good and no reply! May I ask again this time pointing out I’ve been in HM Forces for 6 months or so now and like a good cheese or fine wine I’m well matured.

The Retreat is no longer here in the Community Forums. If you want to escape from the knobheads then sign up to use the Subscription forums. I would but I have so much money trouble at the moment. But yet somehow I always seem to find money to go out on the piss

Alright, who do I send the money to and how much is it? This site is so damn confusing now I can't figure it out.
I'll need to take a class to catch back up and figure this place out, what did you guys do to it?
