Black Hawk Down was good, but the book was better. They left a lot out and condensed a lot as well, which was disapointing.

Schindler's List.
Brilliant film..absolutely brilliant.
Schindler's fist is pretty good aswell, or so i hear.

Same can be said about We Were Soldiers. The book is a lot better although the film is quite good.

"For Queen & Country" with Denzel Washington trying his best to play an ex-2 Para Falklands vet trying to get his life together after leaving the army. His attempt at a Brit accent is shite, but it's not a nice film - quite depressing actually. A few Brit actors that you might recognise are in the film. U can get it on Amazon.
