RAF wives help for memorial

Hi there, I am involved in creating a memorial for 43 Squadron. I am interested in looking into paying homage to the wives of the airmen, as I believe they were just as involved in the war effort and play a major role in being support to their husbands.

As part of my research into the RAF, I am looking to gather documentation of people's experiences being at the home front and being left behind. If any wives, mothers, sisters or daughters of airmen from any time would be willing to share their story here, I would be deeply grateful. This information will be for my own personal research and will be put on public display. If you would like to share your experience privately, please get in touch.
