Take a chill pill and don't use CAPS. If you have passed PRMC and already have done a medical with your AFCO and passed it what you worried about? Unless you have been doing drugs?

From what i've heard and read the second medical is just a basic check up to make sure your OK to crack on with training.

Just a few words of advice, please try and use the correct spelling and punctuation sharpish ok? If I don't tell you, one of the mod's will.

I wish I could help you with regards to what you're asking but I haven't got that far yet.

...Im a bit worried about the medical test.
..does anyone know if they contact the CIVVY GP
.. i would prefer if they didnt look at medical records!!!......

also does anyone know what type of blood test they perform,
,if it is a simple blood type test or
a full medical screening test that searches for illnesses?????

After arriving at CTC, after swearing the oath you are given a form to tick and sign etc. On this form you mention any injuries that you may have suffered before and whether you feel it is necessary to see the nurse about it.

DON'T SEE THE NURSE ABOUT IT or you could end up being sent home as the lady we had seemed to hate us and was more than happy to end our careers there and then.

thanks .I'm not going to tell the nurse anything.
I think that's where my mate went wrong, I think that's how the medics found out about his injuries...

Keeping past injuries quiet? Are you sure?

Chances are they will find it out anyway, mainly because Royal Marines sometimes check out this site, and your username is Dan T.

Oh dear.... :o

Mines that day too I'm dreading the medical for no reason. I just hate the fact that we've waited a while and had to work hard to get where we are and it can be over by someone not being able to tick a box not a nice thought at all I see where your coming from.
psychometric test- passed
eye test- passed
interview- passed
medical- passed
pjft- passed
