Have polished boots to near mirrors, RT soon, trouble??

Post by rgj-rifleman »

Hey guys, more a question for lads who have just started RT or are in RT, but i have started polishing my boots and got a little carried away, i have boiled them almost, not as nice as parade but they are still pretty nicely glossed up. Can see my face in them and watch the TV out of them like a balck mirror.

Ive just though sh*t, i may be beasted for doing this. I have been practising and just gotton warped into making them really shiny lol.

Are my Training team going to look down at me for going into foundation with already polished boots, also im worried i may look like a goody too shoes turning up with polsihed combat boots.

Should i be worried that they are reasonabled shined up?

Cheers

I wouldn't worry about it mate, no one will care or have a problem with it. Just to let you know though mate, those boots will be your field boots and so by all means get loads of polish on them, but don't bother bulling them mate.

Sod coming across as a "goody two-shoes" mate, it is a career after all not a holiday camp and you are expected to put everything you've got into it :D

Don't worry rifleman, i'm sure i'll "accidently" splash some nice brown mud on your boots just so you don't worry about looking like a goody-2-shoes :P

Royal don't insist on your work boots being shiney like Perce does mate, as long as they're black it doesn't matter. They'll soon get trashed.

Im sorry but this is a pretty pointless post, why ever would having shiny boots be a problem fair enough if you were in the field straight away but you will be on camp parading in diffrent rigs
