Hi, on the day i was supposed to go to the careers office to enlist i couldnt make it due to being ill, i rang up first thing in the morning and spoke to someone, explained and he said that either himself or my recruiter would ring me back with a new date, its now been 3 days and still no phone call i was just wondering if now i will not be going into the army on the date i had previously been told (8th Jan)

As for being too ill to turn up. How ill were you, was realy so bad that you could'nt turn up. If you were really so bad you could'nt move then fair one. But the sniffles or feeling under the weather then you should of made the effort. Thats what you do in the Army.
We are always told when at home and you get ill or injured, unless your dead or cut of at the waiste you get back to camp for first parade. Then take it from there

i had the shits quite badly so i didnt want to be going into town then needing to run and find a toilet or standing in the careers office or swearing my oath dieing for the toilet wasnt worth going with the risk of shitting myself so i rung up and asked to book it for another day i didnt think this would be a problem but they havent rung me back so ill just ring them on monday i was wondering though because i have missed that enlistment date will it affect the day i actually go into the army ?
