Boots completely ruined

Post by JCAP3 »

Hi, after finishing my POC my boots are completely knackered (brand new the week before). The leather is peeling off the front and look in terrible condition. As many of you know, a new pair doesn't come cheap.

Anyway, are there any ways of "hiding" the tears or will I have to buy another pair?

Cheers.

Thats bloody nice of you Dave but i'm going to see how if i can get a pair off someone next door to me (if mine are beyond saving)

edit: Now seeing that you live in Southampton i might take you up on that offer, size 9.

Thanks again mate.

By the way, was it 14 months already? :o Congrats again, ya deserve it.

It sounds like any other pair of boots that are being used properly mate. Try whacking loads of polish on the toecaps after every time youve worn them (like youll have to anyway)
I wouldnt worry to much, you get another pair in training, most blokes use one as their 'field' pair and one as their 'camp' pair, just keep those for the field and phyz etc.

Mr Capon! It was those bl**dy tunnels that did it - mark time Mr Capon, get those farking knees up - and while your there get those farking boots polished :D

Keep them as your field pair mate - the finish on all of the boots is quite thin.
POC June 5th - PASSED
AIB July 3rd - PASSED

RT, (where did that come from?)

Regarding
"YOU OWE ME SOME PRESS UPS MR CAPON!!!"
They're very witty them there PTIs down at Lympstone aren't they. Example: Run round my bronze body, down to the monkey bars and back...GO!

I too have nightmares of "Come on Mr Bliss you Weasle!"

Happy days! :P

Erm think youve misunderstood a lil there mate.
A pussers tan is where youve caught the sun with your rig on as in a V shape on neck and from forearms down.
He may have one of them, but if hes a PTI i doubt he would lol
