Okay don't get personal on my account. There was no-body replying when ruth did so seemed like good advice but now some-one with a little more knowledge applied (thanks WB) and i'm gonna follow that advice. So will call them and see what they say. The recruitment office e-mail i got back just said that if its a first offence i should be fine didn't say anything about exacts of the crime. So i think i'll give them a call and get the exacts down. Thanks for the advice mate

Good on you SB :) These forums are meant to be used to help each not a reason to slagg people off because you don't get the answer they want  The mods should keep an eye on this and lock any threads where it gets out of hand

Happy posting

Hehe, me an my old workmates were in the 24 hours Tesco in Falkirk one time an we had clearly had a fair drink in us, anyway, it was our Christmas nite out an we were all wearing the Kilt, some guys and girls asked us where we came form and I had the brilliant idea of telling them we were Aussies and we had the Kilt on because we had a Scottish family history!!!

Before we knew it the girls were seeing what clan we descended from by checking out our quarter pounder and Big Macs :o One of the guys we told the story to had a Duffer Jacket on, so we told him that in Australia, his highly fashionably Duffer, meant "f*nny". He went and told all his mates this and soon duffer became a derogatory word in Falkirk :o PMSL

Anyway, the last laugh was on us, as at the time we were all cops :o and a week later, the same guy came into our station whilst we were nightshift to report being assaulted (shame, he was a good guy). Anyway turns out he had told all his friends and family about meeting these mad Aussies in kilts in Tesco and that in Australia, Duffer means f*nny :D :D :D

Has nowt to do with this thread, but still makes me laugh :P
