How much do you weigh?

Post by robouk »

Bit of a broad question I know.

I am a bit chubby at 15 stone but i'm looking to join the marines. I have about a year to lose 2 stone and I am determined. I think early morning jogs will do the trick!

Does anyone have any advice they can give me? Thanks

Eat less train more.

For the record, I'm heavy to weighing in at around 85 -86Kg.

Dont listen to all these "loose 15 stone in a day diets" like lew said its a matter off burn off more than you put in. You dont have to eat like a rabbit. I had to loose 3 kilo in 3 weeks for when i was applying for the army.

I hammered the running and all cardio stuff 4 times a week 90 minutes each time and stopped drinking beer and eating junk food al the time.

Still had chocolate and fizzy drinks, just switched to diet and dident take the pickle with the chocolate.

It paid off as i lost 4 kilo in the 3 weeks.

I passed my selection stuff at 91 kilo and at 6 foot 1. managed to get it down to 85 kilo before i started though.

Hi robouk, You neglected to say your Height?????. Short and Fat or Tall and Heavy?????

6 foot 2 inches and weigh in at 18 stone, want to get back to 17 stone 7 pounds what I've weighed for the last 10 years. All I'll do is CUT OUT FAT of all description, carry on with my training regime and 3 to 4 weeks will see it off.
I have Artist and Co to thank for this increase in weight, far to many runs ashore with "Bootie Muckers" over the last few months. Must stop them but I LIKE UM TO MUCH.

Cheers Artist, you **************** JWT :roll

I'm 6'1", and just over 14 stone @ about 10% bodyfat. I'm trimming down a bit though, as I was over 15 stone at the same bodyfat. Too damn heavy to run! 44"+ chest and 16" guns were nice for the ladies though...
