DONE IT!

Post by lilsuvv »

passed my prmc on the 26th-29th of july,

scores......
press up- 42
situps-59
chin ups-5(slipped off)
bleep test- 12
3 mile- pass
assult course-3.57

so happy i passed and i must say thank you for being warned about bottom field, it was the hardest thing on the course by far!

assult course was so good loved the commando crawl, loved it on the high obstale course as well, loved the 20ft ropes.

like slaphead_17 said the boxing was so much fun and we did our course the old way.

loved the course so much and didnt want to come home, did so much and get to do my aff course in the corps as one of the corparls said i could get funding for it as you are educating YOURSELF! lol

thanks a lot guys and hope to see you all in foundation, hoping to go end of sept!

Hey there mate, glad to hear you passed. We (as a forum have had a right result recently with passes)

Will see you down there soonish then.

Again well done, and yea bottom field is a killer 8)

p.s. Jay, this could be a new selling point for your forum - want to join the royal marines, join MF and get the inside info. I know I wouldn’t of passed had I not got a heads up about PRMC

Good job on passing the PRMC, however that was the enjoyable bit, not you have to face the reality of training, and its not pretty!

However crack on with it and keep your chin up, be proud to be becoming Royal!

Oh come on artist, give the lad a break, so the title of his thread could be misconstrued a little.

He’s proud he’s passed, and so he should be too.

I can’t remember being given a hard time for posting a "passed PRMC" thread.

Fair dos Lew

Why not make it a sticky then Beast?

Sorry but it means nought to me passing a bloody PRMC. When you post DONE IT you should have heard them wonderful words "Royal Marines, to your duties carry on!"

And I thought that this section of the forum was entitled:

Royal Marines - General Discussions, Joining & Training

Silly me!

Ignore it mate - even the longest of journeys start with a single step
It's not how many posts you have made......It's the quality of what you say when you get here.

Dont they still do that regardless? Unfit for military service or something isnt it? So, if the cdo tests/training (although having a better safety record now, wasnt there like a 10% mortality rate during ww2 training?) and you can still get binned for not being suitable for the military, surely passing the prmc is still a valid accomplishment?
