11th September intake

Post by the skeavster »

I got back from passing my RSC a few hours ago, and it looks like i'm going to be on the above intake, is anyone else gonna be in that platoon?

As i said, i passed my RSC. !hen people said it was easy, i thought they meant by para standards, not civvie ones!

The only fault I was told I have is a weak back for the huge number of tabs i'll be doing, so does anybody know how i can make it stronger? I can do hundreds of sit ups no problem, so i was wondering what else i can do to strengthen my back.

Cheers

Hey skeav, knew you could do it mate, nice one.

The best thing which would strengthen your back would be to go to the gym (if you can) and use the exercise machines which strengthen all areas of the back. I have you added on msn and would be glad to tell explain to you the exercises which will help.

If you want to strengthen your back there's only one way to go and thats Deadlifts!! These will give you a very strong back especially if you add in some barbell rows, plus pull ups will also build up your back muscles (use both overhand and underhand grips)

Start light on these exercises then once you get use to doing them start increasing the weight.
