What happened to the educational tests you had to take before you joined the Corps? Reading these threads it seems that the test minimum has been reduced to 5%. Poor spelling rotten gramar, terrible sentence construction.
A lot of these young guys may be very fit, but it strikes me that their grey matter needs development as well. Maybe it is the schools that are
blame or the Blair inspired educational system that blights the life of todays youngsters.
I am told that NAMET now equates to aGCSE grade C. Is that true?

'Gramar' is spelt Grammar.
Apart from that, you do have a point. Sometimes some of the posts are a bit cryptic to read............................................

I remember when I was in training some of our troop had to go back to school in order to attain the Namet minimum of 5/5 and if they didnt get it then they were out.
And as far as I'm aware Namet 5/5 is still the requirement. Only nowadays Pusser makes sure that all guys joining are at that requirement. So the Schoolies at CTC must have a lot of time to kill.
