Potential Gunners Acquaintance Course (PGAC). Information

Post by sncopgac »

Lads, if you have any questions with reference to the PGAC Course, just come and ask me. I am the sergeant in charge of the course and will answer any questions that you may have, or worries about the course itself. Our aim is to make sure you have all the right information so you can succeed on the course, so ask away.

Also, look up:

http://www.honington.raf.r.mil.uk:8080/ ... /pgac.html

This webb site was written by the Recruit Training Wing and gives plenty of tips on excercise, warm ups, stretches and a programme of the course itself. Just remember to listen to what's being said, do as your told to the best of your ability and don't get gobby or chat back. The course is only 3 days long so we can't give you the exact imprression of what a Trainee Gunner Course is like, but it gives you a good idea. One more thing, bring a sense of humor too. When you get tired, you'll need it.

Hello Sargeant, welcome to the forum! If you have time do you think you could write a detailed diary of the PGAC, similar to "Gippers Diary" on the PRMC? Tell us what the recruitment staff don't such as where most people fall down on and some of the more challenging parts of the course. Also some Do's and Don'ts would be helpful to aid potential recruits to not p*ss off NCO's or would that take all the fun out of the course for you :P

Thanks,
Gunn

Would a SNCO in the Regiment not know it was Sergeant not Sargeant?

(they are like sponges this lot and suck everything out of you!)
:o :o :o

You know most men wouldn't complain!
There are are two kinds of people:

Those who say to god, "Thy will be done", and those to whom god says, "Alright then, have it your way".
