Is this an engineering trade or nco?

how long did you have to wait between the medical and the 1st interview?

Aerospace Systems Operator...aka...'Scopie'....aka....Fighter Control (assistant).

Not an engineering trade...more along the lines of sitting in a bunker assisting Fighter Control Officers monitor the airspace and/or control intercepts.

Most of this trade will soon be based at RAF Scampton (near Lincoln). You can go on to work on the E3-D Sentry aircraft and/or qualify as a non-commissioned controller (quick promotion to Sgt).

There is also a tactical unit that is deployed worldwide (1ACC).
