Well, one problem is that all the qualifications i've got are german(school, electrician apprenticeship...)!but they translated all that last winter...
but everytime i call the guy,he is saying they still have to decide if i can join the engineers as an electrician!!!sounds crazy!!!i've done the interview...then got a flight to london to stay with relatives and get the date for rsc...that was 6 weeks ago!!!!!
so here i am,waiting,calling...............................
i'm really pissed off!!!

I guess i have all that to come, only handed my forms in last friday so i dont expect anything for a while, i also live in germany but i only intend to fly over when i have my date. Still cant believe there is only one guy doing the recruiting for the whole of Germany though. What fitness standards are you guys at, just interested in what people regard as ready

so you've been to see wo2 thomas in herford???
i came over because i've never lived in england, thought it might be better
to come over now,get settled in...
and the army paid for the flight and train anyway,so i couldn't say no :D!
Herfords ok,it isn't him delaying the process...
but i think it would be better if i could of done the whole process in germany...there are lots of english lads wanting ro join from the area i come from!

Yep had a bit of a general chat WO2 Thomas, nice guy in serious need of some help though which they wont give. I lived in the uk until last October i came out here so i can concentrate on improving my fitness and stuff. I live near some hills so its good for the running and cycling. When i get my rsc date will the army still pay if i still go over a week earlier or so to stay with family BARGAIN!!!!!!!! :P :D if they do thought i might have to fund it myself
