They give them away, at the stores in CTC, replacement cost used to be about four quid. But the real cost was about five tons of blood, sweat and tears.
Or you could try the Scouts.

well my father earned his, he was in the marines from 66 to 72
i am not a marine so i dont know what ctc is. my father pulled dead body from the rivers in singapore when the floods hit, he was south east asian boxing champion, spent time in singapore, oz and aiden amongst others, so i think he has earned a replacement don't you, so if you would'nt mind passing on the relevant information in english not marine speak i would be greatful

CTC is the Commando Training Centre based in Lympstone where your Dad would have done his training. It's full name is CTCRM (RM being Royal Marines).
Back in your Dad's day it may have been called ITCRM, it was when my old fella was doing National Service '56 - '58 - Anyone know when it changed ?
Anyway, replacement Beret
Go to http://www.silvermans.co.uk/SILVER/CGIB ... HAT=Search and type in Beret and you'll get a list of them there.
The one you need is.....
Style number: 19011
Description: Beret Marines
Price from: £10.99
There's probably stacks of other sites that will sell them, is there an upper limit on how much you want to pay ?
Incidentally, does your Dad want it for parading etc ?

chester, thanks for a sensible reply, as to the question of my father parading those days are gone, he loves the marines and after a few sherberts i get to hear more than my fair share of stories of when he was in the marines, one of his favourite stories is when he was camped out on the moores with a mate who had never been out of the city, his mate woke him in the midle of the night saying """wilky there's a f--kin cow outside.""" it turneed out to be a dartmore pony. others include lady boys in singapore,,,,,,,,his mate who did'nt come back from oz and many many many many more
thanks again
