Hej mschi,
Det är samma rangsystem för män och kvinnor i UK - i armén, flygvapnet och flottan.
Jag tror de huvudwebbsidorna för brittiska MoD beskriver detta. Har du tittat på MoD sidorna?
Du kan skriva på danska till mig om det är lättare för dig.
Med Vänlig Hälsning

I know. Swedish is not a hard language for English speakers to learn. I've recommended Swedish to a couple of friends in the UK as a language toHyperlithe wrote:Blimey, I can actually work out what most of that says!
learn just for fun and they love it. Both Danes and Norwegians understand it as well.
The good thing with Swedish is that the grammar is similar to English in that unlike French, Spanish, Russian etc. there are no personal noun endings for each gender and case. And there are no personal verb tense endings either, just as in English.
Plus the fact that the vocabualry is very similar in many cases. Just take my response there for example:
samma = same
rangsystem = rank system
män = men (and it's pronounced the same)
beskriver = describes
sidor = sides (i.e. pages)
huvud = head/main
Du = You
Kan = can
Jag = I
Och = and
Armé = army
Har = have
För = for
Det är = it is
Till mig = to me
But words like flygvapnet (air force) are quite different
However,
Flottan = Fleet (i.e. Navy)
Vapen = weapon
Svärd = sword
Granat = grenade
Kniv = knife
And
hus = house
barn = Child / bairn
bord = table
arm = arm
ben = bone / leg
hand = hand
finger = finger
fot = foot
bröst = breast
nacke = neck

One of my mates has got a Swedish ex-wife, and the 2 girls live with her most of them time, so of course he speaks Swedish as well. Sounds a bit odd when he answers the phone in it and you haven't realised...
You can have peace.
Or you can have freedom.
Don't ever count on having both at once.

Is yours
Or you can have freedom.

Ok, so you probably didn't understand all of that Swedish reply then, which was me helping what I thought was a Danish student struggling with English. Especially as you said you're from Denmark and your profile says you're in southern Denmark.mschi wrote:great i created a danish-swedish topic hehe...
by the way my danish is not better than my english at all :'(
my mother tongue is german, but i dont like the country that much
Either you're Danish or you're not!
If you're not, then don't claim to be!
The phrases "I'm from Denmark" and "I live in Denmark" are two very different concepts.
Don't say the former when you mean the latter!!!!
For example, I'm from London but I live in Sweden!
