If i was gonna talk to a civvie who didnt have a clue about the history and whats been going on in the army. And i wanted to impress him what moments in british army history would you mention and why?

Actually it is spelt bridgwater no "e" in the middle im afraid, nice try though :D

Battle of the Admin Box. Battle of the flyover Anzio. Alemein, Defense of Crete. Chindits. Gloucesters in Korea. Battle for Caen. Malaya especially Claret Ops. Gold, Juno and Sword. Etc Etc Etc for at least three hundred years.
