The Corps` Birthday
Heyup,
this Sunday is the Birthday of Her Majesty`s Royal Marines.
Three hundred and forty three years since that rainy October afternoon when the Grand old Duke of York and Albany thought it would be une bon idee to have some Marines.
Dunno what you are doing to celebrate wherever you are, Royal, but down here we`s having a smallie Memorial Service in the morning followed by a Corps Birthday Luncheon/DTS as a warmer and then we`ll get ratted in Joondalup Sound like a plan ?
Wherever you are and whatever you are up to, stay safe Royal
Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday To You,
Happy Birthday To You,
Happy Birthday, Dear Corps,
Happy Birthday To You

The Corp's Birthday
Bert
The Costa Brava RMA have organised a Dinner for Sunday evening with a lot of guys and their partners flying in from all over the place. The first bods arrived in Spain this morning and are no doubt already p----d.
Were travelling down on Saturday morning and stopping two nights only, as being an old git I can't keep up with these young thrusters.
The Go-Kart competition on Saturday should be an eye opener.

Behave yerself Paullie,
Great day as per usual. Hope you all enjoyed yerselves Royal
Service went well at Freo, rain kept off as per my chit. Bit light in numbers for some reason.
After the Service we relocated to a local yacht club for the Birthday Celebrations, proper and a good time was had by all.
Everything seemed to go off without a hitch and Steve J mc`ed the gig like the seasoned pro that he is. Shortly after this phot was taken, some bastard nicked the Rum Tub
Eight Members have achieved three score and ten in the past twelve months and were awarded Life Member Certificates by Mad Mick.
L2R, Jim(M.M.),Clubs Rea,Tony M, Dusty Millar, Dinger Bell,John H,Our own Devil Dodger Revd Tim H,Brian M and Allan B
Later, back at my grot, I started on the Pusser`s
Didn`t last long though
