Previous application to Army vs RAF

Good day all,

I'm new to the forums.

There is a lot of valuable information on these boards, and I only wish I found it sooner rather than later.

I have a question for those who maybe in the know.

I made a previous application to the Army, which was successful all the way up until phase 1 training, when I decided to put it on hold because of a job offer. It seemed like a good decision at the time, although I've realised how I'd prefer a career in the forces - I'm sick and tired of the conventional 9-5 job, regardless of the pay (within reason )

Does anyone know how my previous application for the Army will affect any applications I send to the RAF?

Afternoon Tech.

I wouldn't think there would a problem with your application.
i think what it comes down to is, if did make a commitment to the Army, what was your reasons of leaving the army or why did you get discharged, i'm sure you would have to say that you applied to the army in application form, but other then that i see no problem.
