Boxing in the Royal Military Police?

Post by scotty »

I'm planning on going into the RMP at 18, and i'm wondering whether you can box (i box quite regularly at the moment) for them, because i imagine they have a lot of duties and there wouldnt be time. Does anyone know anything about this?
Also when would you start boxing, during basic training or when your actually into the regiment?

Cheers for any info you can give me. :)

I dont think he'd be boxing for either the "corps" or the navy seeing that he is planning on joining the RMP, however you could well box for the RMP or the Army

Thats alright, yeah i only recently heard of the royal marine police, are they just to police the marines are the whole navy? My sergeant when i used to go to cadets was ex military police and he said he knew a few, he said it was tougher to get into the marine police than the normal marines.
