Will My Medical History stop me

Post by marklife »

Having lost both parents a few years back i have been given the diagnosis of canabis induced psychosis when really i was just suffering from grief. I have not taken any medication although priscribed and the doctor aware of this.
I am going to serve my contry as a nurse regardless of the army but would like to join and give it a shot. Currently im 23 years old and studying on a access to nursing course while working 48 hours in a nursing home + overtime.
How do i clear up this medical history? And would i stand a better chance after completion of the degree with maybe a bit of experience in A and E or ICU?

You can't clear your medical history as far as I am aware. Just be honest with them about and leave it to run its course. If you try and hide it or lie about it and it comes up you will be thrown out for making a false statement.
