Is being 23, too old to join??

im 23 years old and was considering gettin myself to the recruitment office early next year. joining the army is always something thats been in the back of my mind, something that ive always wanted to do but i feel like ive left it a bit too late to join?

My son was 30 in February. Joined-up in May, did basic infantry and P-Company in Catterick, passed-out as best shot in the platoon, and is now in 3 PARA.

If you think you really want to do it, prove it to yourself.

I joined at 23, was one of the oldest in my Platoon at the time. Granted this was back in 1993.
Being older is an advantage, life experience and all that type of thing. If your fitness is good then you should be able to keep up with the youngsters and you can be a level head when things get rough.
If you want it go for it. Thats my advice.
