can you join the army even if u have ADHD because acording to the booklet i have you cant i need help! :( w.b RuDe-BoI

The only way to find out for sure is to phone or visit an army careers office talk to a recruiter. you might be able to join if youve been ADHD free for a certain period of time, talking out of my ass though so contact a recruiter and ask them.

you are never free of ADHD as my brother has it and no the army will no allow any one to join them with ADHD as my brother got refused due to his ADHD

I openly admit I have ADHD and I got in the royal marines and I didn't hide the fact I have it either and nothing bad was said about it why dont you try the Royal Marines mate.

ex nod was diagnosed with chronic compartment syndrome rejoining eventually.

currently in australia as im traveling the world before i rejoin the marines.

Did you take any Meds for ADHD? When did you join up? Why did you leave ?

I took ritalin till I was 14-15 gcse's and joined up when i was 18 left because of an injury in training in your previous post you say your cured mate your not you have learn't how to handle it as you will never cure it.

I see. According to the Application Form you need to be free from Meds for 3 years before they will consider you, it sounds like that was 3 years without meds in your case.

I found this when searching for posts/threads about compartment syndrome. It seems that the only mentions of it are in a member's signature, though. Is there anyone here who has had compartment syndrome at some time?
