Im RLC Mate

Have to say it has been the best 16 years of my life. Yes sometimes it gets rough and there are times when you want to quit! But the good times outway the bad trust me.

I hated my Phase One training I was awful, However a few years later I was an Instructor at Pirbright teaching Phase Ones.

Good luck to all, Remember if you smile when times get tough, then it doesnt seems as bad.

As far as dates for basic, apparently they don't have a cancellation system anymore?

Well attended at Glencorse yesterday for selection and got f@#king defferred at medical for heart murmur!!!!! AAARRRGGGHHH!!! :-? :x :-?

However got appointment on wednesday at manchester to have proper scan and check up done, the medical officer said "im convinced its innocent, however as i have heard it i do need it checking out".

So defferred for 6weeks and got appointment wednesday.

Not too bad though one poor lad got defferred for 2 YEARS cos he once had a migraine!!!!

Also been told that the medicals they do at selection last for 12months so only have to have my scan then straight back up to finish and PASS selection!

In total 9 people got defferred: 2 for 6weeks for "innocent" heart murmurs, 1 for 2yrs for migraine, 1 for 6months with trapped nerve in bottom of foot and sorry cant remember what the others where???

Good luck to everyone who is attending ADSC selection soon!!!

6 weeks more preparation for me but that will fly by!!

Cheers all.
