glencorse adsc

Post by Rach79 »

adsc was great! it was easier than i expected but for some of the girls, it was harder than they expected. So i guess that the general rules is, expect it to be hard, work hard and you will easily pass.

girls: if you are on; carry a spare tampax in your pocket, as you will not know when the next time is that you can get to your bag. dont worry too much though if you forget as the corporals who are looking after you are very aproachable.

yep passed with a grade b!!

I found it easy but thats because I trained hard before I got there

Im going into my careers office tomoz to find out when I can start my basic, hopefully it wont be too long to wait but long enough for me to get used to carrying 20 or 25kg for 8 miles :)

cant remember what the weight is for the engineers but Im sure they will tell all tomoz.

yes Im going into my careers office tomo too and hope they will have a date for me
I will also ask them what grade I got - the interview is all a blur and I was so so happy that I didnt ask any questions like what grade I got! How many girls passed your ADSC? 11 out of 40 passed ours

I think we started with around 60 girls

2 got differed after the medical.

The biggest cull was after the 1.5 mile run, loads got sent home after that,

and 24 made it through to the interviews but as far as I heard only 16 actually passed.

aching!! like mad. I think they are mainly aching due to the static lift and mainly the gerry can carry.

I got the highest score on the stat lift and I carried my gerries all the way. Some girls didnt get them all the way but still past.

I think they measure your strength in an overall mark as I only got half a pull up but I made up for it in other areas.

now im going to focus on walking 8 miles with weights in my back pack...

Im well buzzin' and i slept like a stone last night :P
