Which regiment is the light infantry para's? Or is there any other light infantry regiment please state.

The Light Infantry are now a part of The Rifles:

Theres 2 PWRR I believe they play a light role :)

Blummin hell, I didn't know that. I'm currently apply for the Rifles, will that mean I'll get chance to do Para training too?

T_T was pointing out that The Light Infantry Regiment are now part of The Rifles, which is a completely different Regiment to The Parachute Regiment.

I think you may have got yourself mixed up with Air Assault infantry and Para Regt.

16 Air Assault Brigade has two Battalions attached to it as Air Assault infantry. They are delivered by TALO (ie running out of the back of a C130 after it has landed) or by helicopter. The light role Battalions rotate through this role every few years.

Obviously you know what Para Regt do. :wink:
