Training Cadets, you ain't one of those jump dodging REMFs are you?.
Anyway you lads have come over all girlie since you started using those "T" type parachutes.
And whats all this crap about women being unable to jump 'cos their hips is to wide?.Next you'll be telling us that females are non tactical, due to the whistling sound they make on the way down.

I got the gig cos they needed a PTI... went for it cos the old man has been ill this year, and I get a lot of time off! Although it is quite hectic, in terms of travel. And weekends are all booked.
Have been doing a lot of freefall as a matter of fact, am considering the Freds...as well as everything else....

Crab doc says that jumping with container, greens, bergan (heavy one!!!) etc is not I good idea for lumpy jumpers..

You blokes are obsessed with hats, the only hats we look out for are "brownhatters".
I'm just trying to get you to bite mate, finding a Para that doesn't bite easily is a rare thing,I guess things have changed a bit.
The reason for all the Booties on this site is because its linked directly into our "Once a Marine" site. What surprises me is the lack of input from Crabs, Jack and Perce, are you accessing this site from another source?.
As for my hat I'm an ex Bootneck with enough jumps under my belt to know what I'm on about. Let us know your thoughts on the T type parachute if you've used it yet,I'm told its not all that popular.
Hope your old man is on the mend, take it easy.

Feathers (what sort of candy assed name is that)
For your information I'm a "lumpy jumper" in the 101st Airborne.I and the other women in my outfit have no problem jumping heavy, usually a minimum of 120 lbs of gear when we step out that door.
I'm sick of all this Macho posturing by you guys,I had it at Fort Benning all thru my course and I whooped the asses of most of the a###holes on my course and finished 12th in a class of 48.
I'm sure I can show you a thing about soldiering if you are anything like some of your raspberry berets that we beat on exercise in Germany last year, your guys sucked big time.
WE are better trained and have better gear than you "chaps" will ever have, and we know how to use it.
As for that toy rifle I see you playing with ha ha ha ha!.

I like the lady's perspective on life, and the fact they dicked the Claret bonnets makes her even more interesting. Welcome, but be gentle with us, were British you know! (nah, go for it)

Loz
Is that really you in picture at the foot of your post, mmmm.
I get where you comming from re the bad calls on ground targets, most of us are ashamed at the way the fly boys and chopper jocks let us down.
Our ground forces always act in the most professional way, kinda like your Marines out in Afghanistan, those chaps have done a great job.
I heard a rumour a couple of months ago in the post PX that some of your army guys shot one of there own in Kabul,is this true?.
Cheerio mates

Jo Beth if you take a look at the RM Misc thread http://militaryforums.wickidnet.com/for ... .php?t=591 you will see that the Shite Arms 80 aint so popular here either. I can agree with you about the kit, no comment about the training though.

Welcome and enjoy!

hmmmm..... If I am thinking of the same exercise, you have a funny idea about 'whoopass' or whatever it was you said... Training? More yanks die in barrack rooms than in combat each year!! lesson one should be, 'the pointy end hurts!' 37 jumps!!! Have you been ill? Note from the doc (hips?) 120lb!! Was that on a picnic?

Keep chomping on my posts, and the chilli dog burger with extra onions...etc etc...

And as for our lovely lids, we have to work for them, not just draw them from the QM!! :D
