Dead Ant,

It's good to see they let you out, is that so mummy can wash your kit for you, and let you play with Mr Matey, after all seven weeks without him?

At least your body is alive, just; not that I can say much for your brain. But I note from your message to H  a delicate sensitivity has enveloped your life:

Have you been sticking your head up a dogs arse, :o because your so full of shite it can't all be yours.

No I forgot, my experience is that Perce is generally more full of it. Now it seems wannabees are more so.

Deaf Ant is clearly "asinus ad lyram" - an ass at the lyre. But I wouldn't want to offend the sensibilities of one so wet behind the ears.

I wonder if Deaf Ant and DFA are related, perhaps it is inbreding. Or, has anyone seen them together?

Harry - why you feel it necessary to try and knock a recruit I dont know... But then I see that D-Day and Falklands vet's get the benefit of your erm..... witty (?) comments. So I suppose we are all open to your scathing posts...

Mutley, re Mr Matey, we dont all like to play with sailors you know.... :D

Based on recent posts perhaps "feathers" is a little wistful, methinks "down" more apt.

Perhaps this little misquote from the jokes thread can help :

We are all big girls now, so we can put the seat down ourselves

happy is he who has been able to understand the causes of things

Salty tales

Post by Mutley »

It comes as no surprise to see that shortly after his infamous
5 weeks to go
of 1st June, Deaf Ant's appears to have disappeared. Now let me see, how many weeks ago was that? I guess us old farts had him figured

Hey, feathers - your not from
scotland
and
into anything that goes fast
are you?

By the way the thought of playing with the Andrew may bring excitement to some (Sorry, Ratso), but remember:
they change their sky, not their mind, who scour across the sea"
(Yes - Sorry H, Horace again )

As for playing with sailors, haven't you heard - there is a strict no touch rule (come to think of it I am always telling the kids not to play with their Captain Birds Eyes). However if you ask one of the old salts nicely, I'm sure he will take time out to show you the Golden Rivet.

I agree that a forum is a good place for banter and wind-ups, I just think some of stick this lad got was uncalled for.

Please dont concern yourself with my mental health. I am most effervescent today. Enjoying a good tom sharp novel, and nice cup of tea and a sit down.
