used bullet casings, shells

Post by kukooart »

Hi all.
This is my first posting, my name is Kay Davenport, i am an artist, i have joined this forum to see if i can locate some empty, used, bullet casings shells.as i want to create a sculpture made from these shells.
I already have approx 5000 9mm casings but i will require many many more,
It does not matter if the shells are damaged or bent, i only need the end piece {where the stamped name/mm are}
Any info on where i could get hold of these would be so greatfully recieved.
Hopefully i can create the piece and donate to the "help for heros" fund for our wounded .
This is a genuine appeal, my website address is
www.kay-davenport.com should anyone wish to visit to take a look at my work.

Thanks for looking at my post.

Kay

Check with your local police firearms officer and let him know what you are doing. They can get very touchy over this sort of thing as these things can be turned back into bullets if you know what you are doing.
