I've started really enjoying drawing since I started RM training, as I try to illustrate my notes / affairs folder etc. to make it all easier to understand when I revise!

Cool, i was going to say that it can help a great deal on hard topics like working parts of a rifle when you strip it or stuff along those lines.. great to draw the parts and revise where something should enter and exit.
