You speak fluent Arabic, then Holger, so can verify that the translation is true to the original?

Maybe it isn't Arabic. I'm a linguistics graduate but I am only guessing ..... I have no idea.

Did it occur to you that someone might just have translated said piece in such a way as to cause mischief and stir up some anti-Moslem vitriol?

Oh, no ..... it's on YouTube so must be right.

It's in the Danish newspapers today.

So it must be true, then?

The blurb on your link is a true translation of what is being said in the video?

Tell you what, I will show my colleagues on the Ethnic Minority Achievement team this link over the next few days and get a real translation.

Greetings all.

I would like to announce my candidacy for President of NEMAT (the Non-Ethnic Majorty Achievement Team).

While this might be a complete non-starter, what with Red Ken in the capitol, etc., it's at least worth a shot!

So, A_S, you can offer a true translation?

Of course not, but then even I, as mild-manered and resonable as I am, have been tainted in my outlook towards both Islam and Moslems in general. They did that. Not me.

I've seen the footage of the children's camps in Pakistan and elsewhere that warp the brains of kids as young as 4 or 5, immersing them in cultural hatred to the point where they know no different. It's not their fault. They don't have a choice at that age. It may even be argued that as young adults, they still have no choice as they hve never known any different. They have been essentially brain washed their entire lives. But, at that point, it is too late and too dangerous and they must be stopped.

If we tell ouselves that most Moslems are moderate and just trying to get on with their lives, we delude ourselves. They still attend the mosques and listen to the evil rhetoric spewed by their mullahs. And they are under immense pressure to conform.

So, feel free to enlighten us all with the true translation. I mean no offense, but I really couldn't care less. One thing I do know is they aren't singing "God Save the Queen" or "Oh, Canada"!

Jayney, have a word mate

I have an arab- english translator, it takes a while so please bare with me,

The first verse she sings is this, I think it`s about martyrdom and a river of death to the infidels

Is it a kind of dream,
Floating out on the tide,
Following the river of death downstream?
Oh, is it a dream?

Heyup, please be patient as the second verse is nearly complete,

It`s all about the confusion caused by Israeli airstrikes and Gaza city on fire,

There's a fog along the horizon,
A strange glow in the sky,
And nobody seems to know where you go,
And what does it mean?
Oh, is it a dream?

The third verse is finished now and all becomes clear! 8)
Bright eyes,
Burning like fire.
Bright eyes,
How can you close and fail?
How can the light that burned so brightly
Suddenly burn so pale?
Bright eyes.

How, indeed? As Simon said to Arty, fcuk your integrity, just think of the prophet :P
Ethnic minority achievement team :P You can`t half spin`em :P

I'm not fluent in Arabic but can get by.
Quite a few of the words in the text are clearly being spoken on the audio, but there is nothing to say that the audio hasn't been added as well. So we need someone who can lip read Arabic through a rabbit mask.

Another slant on it is that there is no guarantee that anybody we ask to translate is giving a true translation, so claiming to have a real translation is a bit misleading. We use Sudanese, Egyptian and Jordanian translators and are often frustrated because of the of the differences that can occur.

I can't wait for the real translation though. I wonder what will happen if the clip turns out to be accurate. I expect that evidence will be provided that proves it to be the fault of Daily Mail readers.

How we all laughed when a Danish teacher at the school had to be escorted from the premises for her own safety when the cartoon story was in the news. She was threatened by local teenagers.
"Those little pranksters" we all joked. Unfortunately they weren't joking.

I work with several Sudanese translators who thought the English woman involved in the teddy bear incident was a "bad woman" for insulting their prophet.

I wait with baited breath to be informed that somehow we misread the situation and it was all harmless fun.

That's a shame, I was looking forward to the real translation from the Ethnic Minority Achievement Team.

However we must press on. As my old Sgt Maj used to say 'Remain flexible and maintain a sense of humour'. A spendid piece of advice.
