Distance

Post by Mackey »

Looking at the Aux. website with an interest on joining, but apart from the old bill in Bedfordshire which is just up the road, my nearest base is going to be Honington, which is 60 miles away. Would that be a problem with regards to joining/

If anyone does reply, thank you.

I used to live in Kings Lynn and drive all the way to Lincoln. You will be able claim mileage. Its a pain of a drive from Bedford but you will no doubt be welcomed at 2623 Sqn. If you are close to the motorway it might be worth thinking about Northolt which though is further away is straight down the road... Not RAF Regiment though. There are some new Sqns being brought into being so might be worth checking out the reserves site to see where they are.
