does anyone have any experience, or know any members, of the RAuxAF Regiment at 603 Sqn Edinburgh?

hi mate, i am currently going through the process of joining 603 squadron. I'v so far passed interviews, tests and medical now i am just waiting on my attestation date and then that'l be me.
Take it your thinking about joining? I didnt know anyone previous to applying, went along to their recruiting night in january which was very helpfull.

Feel free to ask about anything

hi , I`m thinking about joining 603 squadron, all advice gratefully accepted
by the way am in my 40`s is a gunner the best position to go for?or do you recommend another position?

Gents,

I served with 603 Sqn for 6 years up until 2006.

My advise is to go for it and enjoy the benefits it brings.

In 6 years, I was prompted to Corporal ( Section Commander in the Regt ), was deployed on Op Telic, had various trips abroad on Annual Continous Training and met a barrow load of good lads!

Sadly, a new Civilian Job lead me to leaving, although I shall return in the near future!

Feel free to ask any questions which I might be able to answer!
