Intelligence Officer Vs Intelligence Operative - TA

Hello. I am new to this forum so please don't be too harsh with me just yet..

I am seriously thinking about joining up with the TA. Either as an Intelligence Officer or an Intelligence Operative. I cant really understand what difference there is between the two. I have read the websites, watched videos etc and still, they look and sound very similar.

Could anybody who has experience please enlighten me?

I have the relevant qualifications for both but I am unsure which one to choose. Also, I am based in the Midlands so would training be within reasonable distance from home? I do drive but obviously the closer to home, the better.
