Seeking answer

Post by blackpatriot »

Hello All,

Can anyone tell me what DSF J2 and SO1 J2 DSF stands for? Also apart from reading the SA80 handout given to me during my RTC weekend what's the best way to familiarise myself with the workings of the SA80?

Many thanks

The best way to familiarise yourself with the SA80 Is to wait until basic, you will learn all there. Sorry can't help with the other two at the moment I would need to look them up myself.

They are positions held by Officers. How come you need to know them?

Thanks guys! I'm on my RTC w/ends at Aldershot - wk 2 and don't feel very confident on the SA80. It would be a darn shame to fail the RTC (six weekends soley on SAA: SA80).

Re the other question (DSF J2 and SO1 J2 DSF), I had an email sent round by my BTT Sgt using them. It can be quite frustrating when it comes to the army acronyms and abbreviations.
