Just got a few questions if anyone could help me.

Im interested in joining the army but want to spend a couple of years in the TA to get a taste for it and see how things work out, i've been looking at the RMP mainly and see there is a detachment in Southampton but i can't find any contact details the unit.

So should i contact the RMP unit at Tulse Hill to see if they can give me the contact details?

What are the fitness standards for the TA?

What sort of activities would i expect to be doing?

I take it for tours, sunnier climes are the main opportunity?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi, have you had a look on the army website It should tell you all you need to know, the fitness and medical Is pretty much the same as the regs.
The RMP unit Is a new one not sure If It Is properly up and running yet, there was some Info flying about In the TA forum on the British Army Rumour service forums (arse) so you might want to ask on there.
