I don't think the millions that died in Iraq were down to the Americans..May be you are suggesting that Saddam did not use chemical warfare on his own people, or that any one that disagreed with him was taken to the Hilton Hotel and wined and dined at his expense or may be the Kuwait people invited Saddam into their Country to protect them from America or that America set fire to all those oil wells in Kuwait so that they could sell their oil for more money, also after the first Gulf War that Saddam did not wipe out whole towns that he thought supported America.
Iran now they do not have the most sensible government and allow them an Atomic bomb which could be used against Israel would not lead to to similar retaliation from the same destroying most of life in the middle east, now if you think this is a good idea I might just agree with you

An interesting thought is that the Allies invaded Iraq so easily was due to the Sunni/Shia casm within a supposedly united nation. Surely if not a religous split than a linguistic one exists in Iran between the 50% Iranian speakers and the 50% Turks?
