What was all that garbage about?

Re: The people VS. a rigged UK election
Please can we have total devolution for Scotland?
I'd be quite happy with that.
BTW, The Queen is my employer, my leader, and my master (cos mistress sounds dodgy!). Prince Philip doesn't come into the equation for me, although he is great entertainment value!
I don't work for the government, even though they pay my wages and decide where to send me.
My loyalty is to The Queen, and her heirs.
It would be a very sad day if this sceptred isle ever became just another 'republic'.

You can have peace.
Or you can have freedom.

Re: The people VS. a rigged UK election
Have a chat to the BNP,Jock, they are good at twisting history to suit their own agenda, almost as good as you.
Re: The people VS. a rigged UK election
As the queens ancestors came from Germany I would be surprised if you couldn't find any of her relations that had thrown in their lot with Hitler. Lets face it 99.99% of the people threw there lot in with Hitler and stayed loyal to him almost to the very end regardless of their suffering
Re: The people VS. a rigged UK election
So the Queen married a guy who is related to someone who is related to someone who was a Nazi???? So what?
My Grandmother married a German (She lived on Guernsey) does that make my son a Nazi???
Dont be ridiculous!!!!
Go away and peddle your claptrap elsewhere.
Im an ARRSE member too by the way.

Re: The people VS. a rigged UK election
Dear Deirdre,
I think some of my ancestors may have been invading Romans or Vikings, what shall I do?
Self-Loathing of Sunderland
Well Self, obviously your ancestors were horrible people hell-bent on taking over the world, who killed innumerable innocents, so of course their guilt must now be placed firmly on your shoulders. My advice would be that you never procreate, as that burden would then be passed on to your offspring, and you take yourself off to some remote island (preferably uninhabited, just in case any of those marauding tendencies in your bloodline decide to make an appearance) and live the life of a hermit whereby the rest of us decent human beings in society (whose ancestors were all peaceful indigenous farmers) never have to witness your shame.
Alternatively, you could just get over it and accept that everyone's family has the odd unsavoury element...

closer to it all ....
I'm even trying to be an ingenious farmer.... have to be at 1 kroner thirty a kilo for corn...
Talking of corn - this pedler of venom is of Scottish blood he says .... political pornographer
Lets try another forum while the going is good, there's a good person.....

Re: The people VS. a rigged UK election
Tell me Peter are you now suggesting that BNP should have more TV time so that they can get their message out better
Re: The people VS. a rigged UK election
If other parties that you don't approve off can't stand for election then how can we call our selfs a democracy. Lets face they allowed the Communist Party to operate in this country
Re: The people VS. a rigged UK election
I always thought that the majority had the last say, it is rather gerrymandering as the parties that are busy banning other parties can see them selfs losing power to them or a large chunk of their voters.
Now take the Labour Party for instance they set up the Scottish, Welsh and and Northern Ireland Assemblies, yet refuse to set up one for England as they know with out the support from the other parts of the Country they would never again have enough MPs to have any control over the cash cow that keep things running. This is a classic case of gerrymandering if I ever saw one.
Lets face it most MPs hold the general public in total contempt except around election time, I once saw Ann Widecombe on TV giving and answer on capital punishment and several other subjects. She was asked if the majority of the people in the area that voted her wanted a change in the law that she did not agree with what would she do, well she replied if I did not agree with it I would not vote for it

Re: The people VS. a rigged UK election
If you live in other Country you would swear allegiance to the President so what is the difference of swearing it to the Queen.
When you say democracy is all people and not the majority, then how do we get a government if people disagree with out come like you, or is democracy only served when the result is one that you agree with.
When you say that every one should be included in the Government, then how many Labour MPs or included in the SNP party in Scotland. Now if you can have a SNP why are you against BNP as the BNP only want much the same as the SNP.
John Prescott only wanted to set up assemblies in England where he knew that Labour would have the controlling balance of power. You will notice that he did not try and start them down in the South East first. Also is England one country or does the labour party want it split up in sections that they can run.

Re: The people VS. a rigged UK election
Now I wonder if they will ever allow the people to vote on it in England.
Re: The people VS. a rigged UK election
If it a case of President Gordon Brown or the Queen, guess which one I would chose, still Maggie Thatcher would be some thing else. Roll on a good dictatorship.
