John (Prof) Meddings
It is with great saddness that I must inform you that John (Prof) Meddings has passed away after a long illness. The service was held at St Peter's Church in Budliegh Salterton on Thursday 7/2/02. Followed by a good Royal Marine sending off in the Dog & Donkey. Prof will be missed by his family and the many people that have come to know him over the years. Such was his character, that when he new his days were numbered he planned his own funeral service. A true Royal Marine to the end. Per Mare Per Terram
